Tithe Applotment Book of 1829
These were compiled between 1823 and 1837 for the purpose of determining the
amount which occupiers of agricultural holdings were to pay in tithes to the
established church, the Church of Ireland. The Applotment book for each parish gives
the names of occupiers, the amount of land they held and the value assigned to it.
